PAULUS MAGAZINE WILL CONTINUE TO BE PUBLISHED AFTER THE PAULINE The June edition, the twelfth publication, explores the theme of ‘Paul the theologian’
The Paulus magazine, published by the Società San Paolo will continue on after the end of the Pauline year for which it was created. The editor, Don Primo Gironi, made the announcement in a note on the pages of the June edition, adding that the publication would continue to provide a service of biblical, cultural and pastoral reflection. The theme of this twelfth edition is ‘Paul the theologian’ with articles by biblical scholars Romano Penna and Armando Rigobello. There are two pieces dedicated to the Papal Basilica of St Paul Outside the Walls, one by the Benedictine Abbot, Fr Edmund Power on the famous gallery of Papal portraits, the other by Graziano Motta on the recent archaeological excavations in the Johannipolis area. Finally there are other articles illustrating the value of St Paul in the Anglican tradition and the contribution to the study of Paul by the Pontifical Biblical Institute which is currently marking its centenary. |
